January 4, 2026 - The Pursuit of God's Presence - Intimacy
What if the greatest barrier to God’s presence in your life isn’t sin—but your identity? The truth is that you will never consistently pursue the Savior if you don’t believe you’re truly welcome in his presence. Many believers love God, serve God, even worship God, but deep down, they’re still unsure whether they truly belong. And when identity is unstable, everything else becomes exhausting.
We have an identity crisis in the world—but if we’re being honest, we also have one in the church. Many sincere, long-time believers are still insecure, still striving, still working for approval when Scripture says we were meant to walk from acceptance, not work for it.
Today, we’re launching into the theme of 2026, “The Pursuit of God’s Presence.” Today’s message—a message about restoring our identity—kicks off what will be a transformational year, because identity determines how we approach God’s presence.
