Some of us can quote verses, sing songs, attend services, and still live at a distance from the One who saved us. We know about God, but we don’t know God in the secret place the way Scripture describes. And here’s the sobering reality: you can be close to holy things and still be far from the Holy One.

You see, information without intimacy produces imitation without transformation and familiarity is the anesthesia of the soul—it numbs hunger for God. Because if your faith doesn’t reach your private life, it won’t carry you in public storms.
