Maybe you have been terrified of the wilderness, frustrated with the pressure, and exhausted by the same battle showing up again and again. But what if Heaven isn’t trying to break you—what if Heaven is trying to build you?

Today, we will see Elijah win on Mount Carmel, then face the inner war of accusation and discouragement—until he got into the presence of God and heard the still, small voice. Today we go higher: to Jesus on the mountain of temptation. And we learn this: authority isn’t only given—it’s forged.
