Isaiah 9:6 tells us, "For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.”

Peace is not the absence of conflict. Peace is the presence of Christ. Advent reminds us that Jesus steps into chaos—political chaos, relational chaos, emotional chaos—and speaks, “Peace be with you.” Come today ready to experience the peace the Holy Spirit brings!
