Where
Where do you want to go?
Where do you want to eat?
Where are my keys?
Where were you?
Where...
The word "Where" sparks instant intrigue. It leads my mind into spaces of wonder, loss, and the unknown. When we focus on the word "Where," it invites deep, sometimes difficult questions. One question, such as "Where will I go when I die?" can be challenging. As a believer in Christ, the answer seems simple: "I will be in heaven!" For some, this is a moment to look forward to; for others, it brings dread as they wrestle with the uncertainty.
Can you imagine not having this answer and always seeking something greater? I cannot. Since childhood, I believed in Heaven and that I would go there. This creates urgency to encourage others, reminding them they are stronger than they feel. It opens doors to share my hope and the strength within them.
1 Peter 1:3-9
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and into an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you. You are being guarded by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. You rejoice in this, even though now for a short time, if necessary, you suffer grief in various trials so that the proven character of your faith—more valuable than gold which, though perishable, is refined by fire—may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Though you have not seen him, you love him; though not seeing him now, you believe in him, and you rejoice with inexpressible and glorious joy, because you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Here, we see it is through His mercy we are saved. Though we face trials, the resurrection of Jesus Christ gives us hope. No matter our challenges, we can trust that Jesus will keep His promise of hope beyond this world. As believers, we look to the unseen and trust the promises of the Kingdom!
This is the GREAT NEWS we can share with those still asking life's questions. We should urgently share this life-changing message.
