H3 Capital Campaign & Building Project

On October 10, 2010…

…a dream became reality when, under the senior leadership of Pastor Peter Bonanno, Laconia Foursquare Church (now Real Life Church) began as a campus of Grace Capital Church in Pembroke, NH. Since that date, a 12,000 square foot building was purchased on Pleasant Street in the heart of downtown Laconia with the intent of establishing a permanent lighthouse of hope, healing and wholeness to the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.

In September 2017, the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel and our home church, GCC, launched Laconia Foursquare Church as a chartered Foursquare Church. Under the newly appointed leadership of Pastors Tim & JJ Vercellono, church leaders began to pray and fast for the Lord’s continued direction as this new chapter began to be written in the Lakes Region.

Time and time again, it has been clear to us from God’s Word and prophetic declarations from those inside our community and those who the Lord has sent our way, that we are to be located in downtown Laconia and an active part of a larger community renewal.

In late 2017, a “seed gift” was given to the church that kicked off our capital campaign. Since officially launching the H3 Project on Sunday, February 18, 2018, people from both inside and outside LFC have graciously and sacrificially donated nearly $80,000.

H3 stands for working with our HEART, putting our HANDS to work to build our HOME and comes from two passages of scripture. The first is found in Exodus 36:2-7 where God’s people gave so much that they were asked to stop giving because they brought much more than was needed to complete the project. The second passage is from Nehemiah 6:15-16 where it’s stated that when the work on the wall encircling Jerusalem was completed, surrounding nations perceived that the work was done by the Lord.

Through your generous gifts, God has provided for:

  • Remodeling costs
  • Building plans
  • Quotes for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, sprinklers, fire protection, insulation, and other necessities for the project
  • A completed building for occupancy.

We are now back to Sunday morning services and have started children’s and youth ministries. We are keeping in step with Covid-19 recommendations. There is however much more to be done. Until then, would you join with us in prayer and also ask the Holy Spirit how you can partner with us financially or even volunteer your time? If you like, you can make a PLEDGE of any amount HERE.

We’ll be sharing updates, photos and points of prayer here and on Social Media as we move toward full completion of our new home.

Here are a few Next Steps from God’s Word:

  • Pray for Wisdom & Direction

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
    Proverbs 3:5-6

  • Decide on a Sacrificial Amount to Give or Pledge

“You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.’”
    2 Corinthians 9:7

  • Commit to Continue Praying and Giving During the Campaign

“Now you should finish what you started. Let the eagerness you showed in the beginning be matched now by your giving. Give in proportion to what you have.”
    2 Corinthians 8:11-12
